Empowering Kids to Lead with Purpose
At Hope Advocates, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to get kids involved in their community through volunteering. That’s why we created Bags of Hope — a hands-on project that not only connects youth with important causes, but also gives them the opportunity to lead their own initiative from start to finish.
Through Bags of Hope, kids don’t just volunteer — they become changemakers.
🎒 Here’s how it works:
We’ve identified three ready-to-go causes that make it easy for kids to get started. Each one has been successfully run by Hope Advocates, and we’re here to mentor your child through every step.
We also encourage kids to create a project around a cause they’re personally passionate about — we’ll help them bring their vision to life.
Whether it's packing care bags for those in need, assembling school supplies for underprivileged students, or creating comfort kits for children in shelters, Bags of Hope teaches compassion, leadership, and the power of giving back.

Bags of Hope
If you have a child that you would like to have participate in the program we would like to hear from you. The project will help strengthen their leadership skills, public speaking, organizational skills and compassion for others.- Hope Advocates has partnered with foster programs for the last couple of years. Everyday children enter foster care with no hope and scared of their new surroundings. You can help bring comfort to a child as they will be given a bag filled with items that will help lift their spirits.
- Cancer Bags offer hope, comfort, entertainment, education, and sometimes just a distraction. Children going through chemotherapy often stay in the hospital for a week at a time on numerous occasions while they undergo treatment. The bags can provide them with some hope and entertainment.
- People on the streets struggle each day to recieve the most basic of needs. You can help provide a little comfort to someone by sponsoring Homeless Bags. Homeless bags contain snacks, travel-size toiletries,socks, a bottle water and other items that people who live on the street find useful.
